When we first started looking into getting sables seriously in 2021, Stephanie's herd immediately caught our eye. Through the process of doing IVF in 2022 we had the opportunity to get to know Stephanie more and knew she would be the one we some day got our future herd sire from! Fast forward to 2024 and we had the amazing opportunity to bring in Confection! He stems from some of the heaviest hitting Sable and Saanen lines in the ring and milk parlor and we expect great things from him.

Confection is a son of GCH Grande Ronde AC Chocolate Chip 1*M EX93. She was the 2021 and 2023 ADGA National Champion and the 2021 Best Udder. Her full sister, Grande Ronde Chocolate Tart earned herself an impressive appraisal score of EEEE EX92 in 2023 and placed 2nd with 2nd udder at the 2023 National show right behind Chip! Confections maternal sister is already following in her dam's footsteps after being appraised a respectable VEVE EX90 as a 3 year old. She placed 5th as a 2 year old milker at 2023 Nationals with her own daughter being the 2nd place senior kid. 
 

Confections sire Polar Night is a really exciting buck. His sire is doing incredible things for Redwood hills, +*B Vineyard View Hops is the son of SGCH Ranea Social Issues 1*M EX93, the 2019 ADGA National Champion Saanan and Best Udder! Polar's dam, SG Old-English Lynette 3*M VG89 is a impressive doe, she milked 4,920 lbs in her second lactation and made Top Ten in all 3 categories! Her paternal granddam was none other than SGCH SGCH Willow-Lane Balentine EX93 EEEE, the 3rd Place 3 yr old at the 2015 National Show. 
 

This impressive pedigree boasts 3 EX93 does in 4 generations as well as 2 National champions. If that isn't enough for you, he is also the littermate brother to this years Spotlight sale nomination who sold for the all time high sable sale, $6,450! Confection was the original consignment but as convention approached he hit rut hard and wouldn't have exemplified the wonderful traits he has to his best ability.
